Return to the touchscreen homepage
On folder lists, folders, and profiles, select the Home button above Search in the page controls. It returns directly to that site’s homepage. The control does not appear while you are already on the homepage.Hide unfinished content
Use the eye or visibility control on the item or folder. Hidden content stays available to admins but does not appear to visitors. Do not rely on being able to limit a public item to selected visitors. If content should not be public, keep it hidden.Improve search results
Visitors can search the text in your available site content. Use clear, consistent:- Titles and names
- Years and dates
- Programs, sports, teams, and awards
- Descriptions and biographies
- Folder labels
Keep filters consistent
Filters group profiles that have the same information, such as a sport or year. Use the same spelling and spacing on each profile. For example, use either “Girls Soccer” or “Girls’ Soccer” consistently so visitors do not see two choices for the same sport. A field with several values separated by commas can show each value as a separate filter choice. For example,Soccer, Tennis can become two choices. Use commas and spaces consistently across entries.
Fix an empty public folder
Check the folder and everything inside it. The folder may be public while its contents are hidden, unpublished, deleted, moved, or excluded by a filter. If your site has Show Published Folders When Empty turned on, an empty published folder can appear with More content coming soon!. That does not publish any hidden items. See show published folders before their content is ready to change the setting.Protect private information
