Each person should use their own work email so Rocket can keep access secure and show who made each edit. New admins receive a Welcome to Rocket email. Open its setup link, set a password, sign in at the Customer Portal, and select the intended site. The invited email address is the username. If you have access to several sites, check the site name before editing.

Find your site in the Customer Portal

Select My Sites in the sidebar to see the sites available to your account. Select the intended site card to open its Quick actions, then choose an action such as Manage Users, View Analytics, or Visit Site. The Portal homepage shows the same site cards and actions. Check the site name before choosing an action, especially when you manage several sites.

Sign in from the public site

On a desktop browser, hover near the top center of your public Rocket site to reveal Admin Login, then select it. The button does not appear on mobile screens. You can also sign in through the Customer Portal.

Find and copy your Site ID

Your Site ID identifies the Rocket site when setting up a display or asking support for help. Check the site name before copying it.
  • In the site editor, open Menu at the top left. Select the Site ID shown below the site name to copy it.
  • In the Customer Portal, open My Sites and select Copy site ID on the intended site’s card. The Portal homepage has the same control.
Copy site URL copies the website link instead. Use that link when you want someone to open the public site.

Invite one or more admins

1

Open User Management

Open the website editor for the site, then select Manage Users in the header. On the Users page, select Invite Users.
2

Enter the email addresses

Enter each person’s work email address and press Enter, or paste a comma-separated list. Review the addresses and correct any invalid ones.
3

Choose Admin

Select the Admin role for full site and user-management access.
4

Send the invitations

Select the Invite button, which shows the number of addresses. Everyone in this invitation receives the same role. New admins receive a Welcome to Rocket email with a password setup link.
The form identifies duplicate addresses and people already on the site. If some invitations fail, review Invitation results for each address. Correct or retry only the unsuccessful addresses; successful invitations do not need to be sent again. Give each admin their own account so Change History can show who made each edit. Ask support if you have questions about adding more admins. If Portal says This account already has organization-wide access and can’t be added to an individual site, the account already has broader access and does not need another site invitation. Ask the person to sign in with the same email. If they still cannot open the site, send the exact message and email address to support@rocketalumnisolutions.com.

Limit someone to selected folders

Use the User role when a person should edit only certain folders.
  1. Open the website editor for the site, then select Manage Users in the header.
  2. Select Invite Users, enter the person’s email, choose User, and select Invite 1.
  3. Select that person’s email in the Users list.
  4. Turn off Full Access if it is on, then select the folders under Folder Access that they may edit.
  5. Expand the selected folders and review the checked subfolders. Access changes save as you make them.
Selecting a parent folder also selects all of its existing subfolders, including those nested further inside it. Uncheck individual folders to exclude them. To remove access to the whole group, open the parent folder’s three-dot menu and select Clear folder and subfolders. Opening Manage Users does not expand existing access. If you later add a subfolder, check its access separately. The user can view the rest of the site, but can change only the selected folders. An Admin has full site access. Editing access follows the person’s role and assigned folders, not who created a folder. A folder created by another admin does not need to be recreated or transferred to make it editable. On a folder the user cannot change, Rocket lets them view the page but turns off the editing controls and explains the access restriction. Bulk Edit opens only for assigned folders and lets them move content only to folders they can edit. The Media Library remains available to Admins, not folder-limited Users.

Check your own account and access

Open Manage Users and find your sign-in email in the Users list. If you were added to this site, the list includes your own account, even when you are the only person on the site. It shows your Admin or User role. Select your email to view your access. Your own account is read-only here: you cannot change its folder access or remove it. Ask another site Admin or support@rocketalumnisolutions.com if your access needs to change. This does not give additional people access to Manage Users. Accounts with organization-wide access may not have an individual site row.

Fix a missing Welcome email

  1. Check spam, junk, quarantine, and school email filtering.
  2. Confirm the invitation used the correct email address.
  3. Ask an existing admin or Rocket support to resend the invitation.
The invited email is the username. If your email address changes, ask an existing admin or Rocket support to invite the new address. Do not transfer a password or rely on an inaccessible mailbox.

Allow Rocket emails

If welcome emails or support replies are missing, ask school IT to check its quarantine and allow messages from support@rocketalumnisolutions.com and the rocketalumnisolutions.com domain. Website firewall rules and email filtering are separate settings.

Gmail

  1. In Gmail on a computer, open Show search options beside the search box.
  2. Enter support@rocketalumnisolutions.com in From.
  3. Select Create filter.
  4. Select Never send it to Spam, then Create filter.
See Google’s filter instructions. If the message is already in Spam, open it and mark it Not spam.

Outlook on the web or new Outlook

  1. Open Settings → Mail → Junk email.
  2. Under Safe senders and domains, add support@rocketalumnisolutions.com.
  3. Save the change if prompted.
See Microsoft’s safe-sender instructions for your Outlook version. A personal safe-sender setting cannot resolve a message blocked before it reaches your mailbox; school IT must check those blocks. Once delivery is working, ask an existing admin or Rocket support to resend the invitation. Use the newest password-setup email.

Reset a password

Use the password-reset link on the sign-in page. If the link fails, request a new email and open only the newest link. Reset links may expire or stop working after use.
Never send a personal password to Rocket or another admin. Rocket support does not need it.

When one admin can edit and another cannot

  • Confirm both people were invited to the same site.
  • If a site User cannot edit a folder, ask a site Admin to open Manage Users, select the person’s sign-in email, and confirm that Folder Access includes that exact folder. For a subfolder, check the subfolder itself rather than only its parent folder.
  • Sign out and back in.
  • Verify they are using a desktop, laptop, or tablet rather than a phone.
  • Contact support@rocketalumnisolutions.com if the permissions still do not match.
If someone cannot edit, send support their sign-in email and a link to the folder they need to change. Explain what they are trying to do and include a screenshot of any message. Do not send passwords. If an editor’s access should end, use Manage Users to remove it when the control is available. Contact support with the site and email address if you cannot remove the user there. Use a current desktop browser such as Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox. If editing behaves inconsistently, update the browser, disable interfering extensions, and try a private window. Include the browser and version when contacting support.
