Accounts and editing

On a desktop browser, hover near the top center of the public site to reveal Admin Login. You can also sign in through Rocket’s main website. See accounts and admins.
Check spam and confirm you are using the invited email address. Ask an existing admin to verify your invitation, or contact support. See sign-in help.
No. Use a desktop, laptop, or tablet. The public site works on phones, but the website editor does not.
Page-specific edits in the website editor auto-save and update the web preview. General and SEO settings require Save changes; wait for Changes saved before leaving. See saving and previewing. A physical touchscreen may take about 15 minutes to sync.
Open the website editor, select Manage Users in the header, then Invite Users. Enter the person’s email, choose Admin, and send the invitation. See invite one or more admins.
Yes. Invite them as a User, then open their account to turn off Full Access and choose the folders they may edit. Follow limit someone to selected folders.
Open the relevant page. In the editing bar on the right, open Settings & Layouts. Bulk Edit is directly below Add Content when supported.
Yes. Use the eye or visibility control to hide unfinished items or folders while you edit. Hidden content stays available to admins. See public visibility.
No. Check the cards, crops, titles, and visible controls after switching layouts. See folder layouts.
Start with plain text, then apply formatting supported by the website editor. See editing basics.
Open Menu → Change History to review and undo supported changes. Open Menu → Recently Deleted in the top-left corner to restore deleted content within 30 days.

Content and media

Open the destination folder and choose Settings & Layouts → Add Content → Person/Team. Add the profile fields and upload the headshot in Media.
Download the destination folder’s current bulk-upload template. For a large first-time batch, submit a Customer Portal data-entry request.
Some tools for adding many items at once appear only after the folder has an example profile or its content has been set up. If the control remains unavailable, submit a data-entry request for help with a large first-time upload. See adding many profiles.
Yes. Use Main Photo / Headshot for the primary image and Add Photos and Videos for supporting media.
The direct video upload limit is 350 MB per file. Compress or trim a larger file, or use a supported hosted-video provider.
The PDF upload limit is 250 MB per file. Use a clear original with text that can be selected or read by text recognition (OCR). See yearbooks and PDFs.
Hold the camera straight in front of the plaque or class photo. Avoid glare and shadows, and keep names readable. Include a list of names if the people are not labeled. See source photo preparation.
Replace it with a higher-resolution original and review the crop. A screenshot or heavily compressed image may not have enough detail.
Search works when the PDF contains readable text or text recognition (OCR) can read the words in scanned pages. Provide a clear original. If you cannot find words you can see on the page, ask support whether the document needs to be processed again.

Public site and displays

Anyone with its public URL or QR code can view visible content. Keep unfinished or sensitive content hidden.
The items inside it may be hidden, unpublished, deleted, moved, or excluded by an active filter. A site with Show Published Folders When Empty turned on can show an empty published folder with More content coming soon!. See empty-folder visibility.
Use the page-specific Media or Colors controls where available. Check the crop and text contrast afterward. See folder design controls.
On a supported homepage layout, open Text and enter a value in Start Button Text. A blank value hides the button.
Allow about 15 minutes after the web version is correct. Then try a light refresh by double-tapping the Rocket logo.
Yes. Auto-Redirect to Home After Inactivity sets how long the touchscreen or public website waits before returning home. It starts at six minutes unless someone changes it. Test while signed out: it does not run while you are signed in as an admin. Some special display links also turn it off. See how to check or change the inactivity timer.
Copy the complete site ID at the end of your Rocket website address. Keep all letters, numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, and punctuation exactly as shown. See the site ID example.
In the Customer Portal, select Rocket Signage → New Screen. Install the Rocket Touchscreen app on a compatible device and use Cast mode with the display code. See Rocket Signage setup.
Yes, on compatible hardware. Confirm the display and attached player’s network support. See network troubleshooting.
A school-managed Wi-Fi network may need extra security files or settings specific to your device. Involve school IT and Rocket support, and keep private sign-in details out of tickets. See network troubleshooting.
Start with Rocket support and provide the installation, model, serial number, and warranty details. Support can help coordinate a manufacturer service request if needed. See hardware support.
A properly configured touchscreen keeps visitors inside Rocket. If device settings are accessible, contact support.

External services

Many social networks do not let their pages appear inside another website or require visitors to sign in. Use a normal link or Custom QR Code unless the service provides an option for displaying its content inside other websites. See external services.
A supported video service may work. Before the event, check that visitors can open the stream, that playback starts as expected, and that it works at the scheduled time on the school network. See live streams.
If your site has a Givebutter Donation Widget, use it for your donation page. For other donation pages, use a link or Custom QR Code. See donation links.
Use a Calendar homepage button or a supported embedded calendar. Confirm the source is public or authorized for your audience. See calendar setup.

Help and requests

In the Customer Portal, select Need more help? → Chat with support when you are actively stuck. See support options.
Use it for large first-time uploads, moving an archive into Rocket, groups of yearbooks, rosters, record boards, large photo projects, or a content project already agreed with Rocket.
Select Customer Portal in the website editor header. For batch work, select Create Request in the Portal. See data-entry requests.
State the actual event date and what must be ready. A requested date does not guarantee completion. See request preparation.
Check the Portal or your email for updates and questions. Reply to the request email so the team can see your answer with the original request. See request follow-up.
Send a link to the page where you need help. Tell us what you tried and what happened. Include an error message or screenshot if you have one. For touchscreen help, add the display or player model if you know it. See support options.
No. Never send a personal password or private network credential.
