Submit a data-entry request when you need the Rocket team to add or organize a group of files or entries. For everyday edits, use the site editor. For an urgent problem, contact support.

Good uses for a request

  • Adding an archive or Hall of Fame for the first time
  • Adding many team rosters or profiles
  • Moving a record board into Rocket
  • Adding several yearbooks or PDFs
  • Matching many photos to profiles, cropping photos, or taking individual photos from plaque images
  • A content project already agreed with Rocket, with a clear destination
Use the website editor for routine edits, live chat for an urgent portal question, and support email for access or hardware problems.

Download Easy Submit instructions

On the Customer Portal dashboard, find Easy Submit by Rocket below Upcoming Events and select Download Instructions. The one-page PDF explains how to send updates by text or email without signing in.

Prepare the source

  1. Put the files you want added together in a folder.
  2. Tell us where they should appear on your Rocket site. A link to that folder is helpful.
  3. Give photos clear names, such as the person’s name and year, so we know where each belongs.
  4. Tell us if any files have already been added or if you are unsure who is in a photo.
  5. If you use Drive or Dropbox, check that the Rocket team can open your shared link.
Follow your school’s sharing rules. If your files are restricted, ask the Rocket team which email address to give access to.

Choose how to submit

When you open Create Request, the Easy Submit window may offer three ways to send your request:
  • Email the information and detailed instructions to submit@rocketalumnisolutions.com.
  • Register your phone from the three-dot menu beneath your site name. Select Register Phone Number, then text your request after registration is complete.
  • Select Continue to Create Request to use the Portal form.
Selecting Continue to Create Request hides the Easy Submit window for 30 days. Select Don’t show this again before continuing if you do not want the window to return. Closing the window or selecting Not now opens the Portal form without saving a preference, so the window can appear the next time you create a request.

Open the Customer Portal and create the request

1

Open the Customer Portal

From the website editor header, select Customer Portal. Then select Create Request.
2

Write a specific title

Say what you want added, such as 2020–2026 girls soccer records.
3

Describe the destination

Tell us which Rocket folder to use and how you would like the content grouped, such as by sport or year.
4

Share the source

Add the Drive, Dropbox, spreadsheet, PDF, or media-folder link. Explain which file belongs to each person or entry.
5

State the real deadline

Give the event date and what must be ready by then. A requested date does not guarantee completion.

How to communicate a deadline

State the actual event date and what must be ready by then. Use a requested-date or priority field when available, but do not assume it guarantees completion.

How the requester receives updates

Check the Portal or your email for updates and questions. Reply to the request email so the team can see your answer with the original request.

Keep the work moving

Reply to portal or email questions so the conversation stays attached to the request. When adding more content later, send only the new files or a clear list of what has changed.

Should you send content by email attachment?

You can attach a small file to your reply. For many files, share a Drive or Dropbox folder so the team can find everything in one place. Use separate requests for unrelated projects. If you are still gathering files, tell us whether to start with what you have or wait for the rest.

Cancel a request

Open the request in the Customer Portal and select Cancel. In the Cancel Request confirmation, select Yes, Cancel Request. Cancellation cannot be undone. Do not cancel a request just to add files or clarify instructions. Reply to the existing request so the new information stays with the work.
