# Embed or share Rocket on your website

> Add your Rocket site or a specific folder to your organization's website with a link, inline embed, or pop-up widget

You can add Rocket to your organization's existing website in three ways:

* A normal link takes visitors to your Rocket site.
* An **Inline Embed** displays Rocket inside a page on your website.
* A **Pop Up Widget** opens Rocket in a pop-up window on your website.

Ask the person who manages your website which option it supports and which best fits the page.

To bring a website, stream, calendar, or other external destination into Rocket, use [Connect external content to Rocket](https://rocketalumnisolutions.mintlify.site/content/connect-external-content.md).

## Link to your Rocket site or a folder

Copy your Rocket homepage's public URL and add it as a normal link on your organization's website. To open a specific folder, navigate to that folder and copy its public URL instead.

## Generate embed code

**1. Copy the Rocket URL**

Use the homepage URL or navigate to a specific folder and copy that folder's public URL.

**2. Open the embed generator**

Go to [embed.rocketalumnisolutions.com](https://embed.rocketalumnisolutions.com/).

**3. Choose the experience**

Enter the Rocket URL, select **Inline Embed** or **Pop Up Widget**, and customize the available colors.

**4. Install the code**

Copy the generated code. The administrator of your organization's website should place it in a custom HTML or embed block.

Check the published page and confirm that the embed opens the intended Rocket homepage or folder.

## Share Rocket with a QR code

The site QR code opens the public Rocket site on a visitor's phone. To show it as a homepage button, sign in, go to your Rocket homepage, select the **+** button that appears there, then **QR Code**.

To create a QR code that opens a specific folder, use that folder's public URL as the destination. Scan the finished code to confirm that it opens the folder, not the homepage.

For a QR code pointing to an external website or an image inside a folder, see [QR codes for external content](https://rocketalumnisolutions.mintlify.site/content/connect-external-content.md#add-a-qr-code-for-an-external-website).

## If the embed does not load

Ask your organization's website administrator to check that the generated code is installed in a supported HTML or embed block and that the site's security policy permits the Rocket embed. School-network restrictions can also prevent it from loading.

If you need help, email [support@rocketalumnisolutions.com](mailto:support@rocketalumnisolutions.com) with a link to the page where Rocket should appear and your Rocket site link. Describe what you see, and include any error message or a screenshot. Your website administrator can help share the embed code if support needs it.
